EDIT: New and improved Dolphin. Paul remarked (correctly) that the eyes looked "painted on" so I tried adding more structure to them. I also rounded out the wave pattern to better harmonize with this character's overall curvilinear design.

I was way too tight on the first one, so I kept fudging with it for too long, probably like 2 hours. This was tedious so I loosened up for the second one and did it in like 30 minutes, plus I like it better :D

Top 20.2

The new top 20...amazing to see how much it's changed since about 3 months ago. The last time I put this together, I was fresh out of Ringling and thinking in a whole new way, definitely influenced by my peers. This summer has definitely seen me returning to my roots, and my love of quality fantasy illustration. Anyway, we'll see how this list fares come Christmas time, in another 4 months.
